1. The environment of the presentation rooms to be set by the venue on August 12 are as the following.

2. Preparation in advance

  • - The presentation data should be sent to the Secretariat (office@9idmrcs.jp) by August 6 if it is possible, in order to check the data before the conference to avoid any display problems.
  • - The recommended fonts using for the presentation data are as the following.
    Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier New, Georgia

3. Presentation day

  • - If you cannot send your presentation data to the Secretariat in advance, please bring your USB memory stick with your presentation data to the International Conference Hall of Makuhari Messe by 12.00 pm on your presentation day.
    Our staff will check it if your presentation data works well.
  • - If you need a presentation manuscript, please print out it in advance for bringing with you.

For Macintosh users

Please using your own laptop to present your lecture.
In this case, please make sure to bring an external output terminal (HDMI) conversion cable to be able to connect to the projectors on site.

For use your own laptop

  • - Please bring your computer with the specified external output terminal (HDMI) and check the connection in the International Conference Hall of Makuhari Messe by 12.00pm on your presentation day.
  • - If you need other external output terminals (e.g. Type-C), please bring your own conversion cable.
  • - Please make sure to bring your AC power adapter to charge your computer.

2. Advance preparation

  • - The following fonts are recommended for use in presentation data.

3. Presentation day

  • - Please prepare your presentation data in your USB memory stick and bring it directly to your presentation room.
  • - If you use videos, please bring the original data as well, to avoid any Power Point troubles ocuur by using copyied data.
    Please make sure that the video and audio files can play by Windows Media Player. The recommended file format is mp4 or WMV.
  • - Please note that the presentations cannot be made using the 'Presenter Tools' within the PowerPoint functions,
    If you need a presentation manuscript, please print out it in advance for bringing with you.

For Macintosh users

Please using your own laptop to present your lecture.
In this case, please make sure to bring an external output terminal (HDMI) conversion cable to be able to connect to the projectors on site.

For use your own laptop

  • - Please bring a computer with a designated external output terminal (HDMI) and check the connection as soon as possible.
  • - Please deactivate screensavers, virus checks, power-saving settings and hot corners (on Macintosh computers) in advance.
    Please make sure to bring your AC power adaptor to prevent the battery from running out of power.
  • - Please bring backup data in your USB memory stick or similar one in case of unexpected problems happen such as breakdown yoour computer.

*For checking the connections, free-use monitors are available on the lobbies on site . You can use the one before your presentation.

For Poster presenter

  • - Poster presentations will be held on both of August 14 from 14:00 to 16:00 and August 17 from 13:45 to 15:30.
    Please click here to find out which is your presentation day.
  • - Presenters are required to keep staying in front of your poster during the own presentation time.

Poster size

Poster panel size: 190 cm (H) x 90 cm (W)

  • - The recommended poster size is A0.
  • - Each presenter has to prepare the title, affiliation and name of the presentation by yourself.
  • - The abstract number will be provided by the Secretariat.
  • - Studs for displaying the posters will be provided by the Secretariat.

    Displaying period : August 12, 17:00 - August 15, 12:00
    Removing period: August 15, 12:00 -14:00
  2. Poster presentations on August 17, 13:45-15:30

    Removing period : August 18, 14:00 - 16:00
    *Removed posters will be disposed by the venue.
